THE COLLECTION
Black and White
White, mimic-less, but not lacking expression faces speak in a very special way. The emotions shown are only delicately sketched, using economical and carefully balanced means of expression.
On the one hand, the faces delicate as porcelain, on the other hand, solid as a rock. Frozen still and pointing to the merciless passage of time. Inscrutable as a human soul. Isn’t it similar with paintings as it is with books, aptly compared to mirrors by Carlos Ruiz Zafón in the novel “The Shadow of the Wind”? – “Books are mirrors: you only see in them what you already have inside you”.
Welcome to the journey inside yourself together with the art of Igor Morski. Distortion, contrast, geometric elements are characteristic of the art of surrealism in which the artists share the piece of their soul with their audience. Let us delve into the dark corners of their consciousness and subconsciousness.

about the White and Black collection:
“Black and White” is inspired by the works of Erwin Olaf from the series “Royal Blood” firstly and secondly, by the huge impression that Oleg Dou left on me.
I decided to go in that direction for a moment, but moving away from the emotional layer and towards the graphic play. I still like to pop into these corners from time to time. A colourless face becomes the unreal background for the poster story.
